As the night drags on and it's time for bed, the Man(brilliantly played by newcomer Zachary Smith) longs for darkness. However, every time he attempts to turn off the basement light, it stubbornly flickers back on, no matter how many times he flips the switch off. With each cautious step down the stairs, he grapples with unsettling thoughts and the growing possibility that every step down may be his last.
Is the persistent glow an omen, echoing the deepest fears lurking in his mind? Is there something far more sinister lurking in the light? Will the light yield? Despite his efforts to extinguish the troublesome light, the Man is trapped between the malevolent beam and the soothing darkness he craves.
